In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked with a librarian to assemble a list of local and national resources to help support our patrons. The guide was both printed and posted online for our patrons to utilize. This communications innovation is a sum of two parts. The first part is a multi-media campaign to inform people about the budget cuts to the National Parks System, how taxpayer money and funds are allocated within the parks and other ways in which the American public can help support the parks. The second part of the innovation is a continued education plan. After the initial launch raises awareness, builds trust and improves transparency, a continued education program will launch to deepen the relationship between the parks and the people - it is America's backyard after all. During my time at Syracuse, I helped create ​Serial Thrillers​, an online publication concept that captures that emotion and interest in an online community devoted to women who like and enjoy true crime. This media plan looks at a buying plan for FIJI Water with a n in-depth analysis and rationale for purchasing media spots. This strategic positioning project looks at L.L. Bean's advertising history and analyzes the company's current strategy. The paper includes a situational analysis, market research, competitive analysis, audience profiles, a creative brief and creative execution. This project was completed during my Master's program at Syracuse. The project was to create a robust social media strategy for the program of your choice. The report includes influencer research for the program, social media objectives and tactics and community guidelines for social media. While completing my Master's degree at Syracuse University, I learned about taking research data from large databases to form insights, recommendations and strategy for brands. This project looked at Netflix and how they stacked up to their competitors in terms of data insights. At Hamilton East Public Library, I was tasked with creating an events guide for the two library branches and maker-space. At Hamilton East Public Library, I was tasked with assisting in managing the library website, Ignite maker-space website and portal. One of my first tasks at Hamilton East Public Library was to create a small annual report to be handed out to patrons during outreach events. At Little Red Door I was given the opportunity to help design and write for the quarterly newsletter. I interviewed and wrote a piece on a woman affected by breast cancer, which can be read on page two of the newsletter. While interning at Little Red Door I was tasked with auditing the various media channels that Little Red Door was using to communicate information. One of my tasks at Little Red Door was to help create an action plan for promoting Door to Wellness. Door to Wellness is an initiative to help both patients and caregivers learn how to develop healthy life skills through cooking classes, yoga and deep tissue massages. One of my tasks at Little Red Door was to help create an action plan for promoting Camp Little Red Door. Camp Little Red Door is a summer camp for children affected by cancer. While interning at Little Red Door, I designed and printed a promotional tag that was attached to handouts. The handouts were then given to local doctors and nurses to remind them to talk to their patients about Camp Little Red Door. While learning about campaigns at Ball State, I collaborated with classmates to create a campaign for ARF of Muncie, Indiana.
